| Bio: | I am a transgendered FTM boi. On April 2, 2007 I decided to stop fighting with myself and to take the first steps in ending my futile struggles to be a girl in this world. All my life, I have marched to the beat of my own drum and I guess some things never change. I have been consciously resisting my gender for approximately 13 years and honestly, it's a little exhausting. I work in the film industry (I'm a camera assistant) and love what I do. Also, I am training for the Boston Marathon...I am going to run the Philadelphia Marathon in November and then hopefully qualify for Boston. That's a lot of miles! I decided last month that I want to transition to male. So this is kind of like my transition journal, but don't worry...I write about all kinds of stuff. I have two cats, a bunch of tattoos, and way too many pairs of cargo pants. When I'm not working on set, I skateboard, play music, make art, and go to the beach. This journal documents my struggles but also my triumphs over a society that has pressured me for too long. My life is not a battle anymore, though. It's a journey.
